We’ll follow this book throughout the course. It’s your go-to guide for everything from basic tech skills to understanding AI, cybersecurity, and digital careers.
You’ll need access to a productivity suite for creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Any of the following will work:
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Apple iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote – for Mac users)

Free for students! Check your Gavilan email or contact the IT help desk to activate your account.

Free with any Google account. Works on all devices.
🔹 Apple iWork
Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are free on Mac and iOS devices.
To make sure everything runs smoothly:
✅ Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (recommended)
⚠️ Avoid Safari or Microsoft Edge for iLearn
📶 Use a stable internet connection for quizzes, uploads, and video content
